Awesome tip submitted from Jeff, straight from his snowy backyard in Minnesota:
1) fill your nICE mug mold
2) pack it in a snowbank, up to the top.
3) come back 20 hours later.
Frozen solid, crystal clear.
It’s exciting how nature continues to show us new and better things: First it was penicillin from Brazilian rain forests, then rubber from the rubber tree in Thailand, and now nICE mugs from snow banks in Minnesota. Does the snow in your state make great nICE mugs too?

Hi
I won two nice mug kits by submitting a picture of our sauna door handles. I used the twice and both times the ice mugs cracked when I poured my cold beer into ten. Then the beer leaked out before I could drink it all 😒. I packed them for our 6 weeks in Florida because they would be perfect at the pool. I was so disappointed that we could not use them. What am I doing wrong?
Hi Susan, nICE mugs out of the freezer need to set up at room temp for a few minutes before adding a cold beer. A good rule of thumb is when the ice is wet on the outside.
You can do it. Great thing about a nIce mug kit is that you can make them over and over and keep getting better.
